As well as enjoying high quality technical content, I had an amazing time meeting and hanging with other Android devs and designers. Y'all make my conference.
Last week I both visited Japan for the first time and spoke at DroidKaigi 2016. I have virtually zero ability to properly articulate how much I enjoyed the trip. However, I will attempt a small recap with more than moderate amounts of gushing.
Last week I attended and spoke at my first Big Android BBQ. After hearing from more than one person that the BABBQ is more of an "enthusiast" conference, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, I am happy to report that the BABBQ 2015 is as much a developer conference as anywhere else.
Overall, I would rate it as a *Would-Go-Next-Year*.
Here's the lowdown on my BABBQ 2015.
